Within the framework of civil-military relations between Niger and Italy, the bilateral Italian support mission in Niger, led by the Italian brigade general, Alessandro Grassano, offered, yesterday Thursday, November 11, 2021, an important lot offood in the populations of the village of Dara, which has 2.990 souls.The ceremony took place in the presence of the mayor of Namaro, M.Niandou Hamidou, of the commander of the Battalion of the Paratroopers, Colonel Adamou Seïni, of the village chief of Dara, M.Hassane Hama and a large audience.

Located in the rural commune of Namaro, about forty kilometers from Niamey, the capital, the perimeters of Dara serve as a framework for joint training and training of Nigerian parachutist soldiers and in particular paratroopers of the Nigerian Para-Commando Battalion, CIt is in this context that this food support was graciously offered by Italy.The gift of food consists of bags of millet, sorghum, rice, corn, cowpea, cans of oil, couscous boxes, powdered milk, sugar, salt and tomatoes.

Note that Misin has been active since 2017 in Niger where it performs several cooperation activities with the Nigerian armed forces (FAN), in order to contribute to strengthening the capacities of fan and the improvement of general security in Niger and its citizens.
