Yoan and Cédric Jaureguiberry manage the company Isobat Eco, in Ilharre in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Specialized in insulation, plastering and painting, they explain to us how they carry out thermal insulation from the outside, and in particular the finish.

“There are only two of us working on our sites, and we use white EPS for the thermal insulation on the outside. Graphite EPS presents too many constraints for a small structure like ours: it requires the installation of an anti-UV tarpaulin and the application of the coating within 72 hours...We sometimes offer our customers fiberglass insulation wood, which we use indoors, under the roof. these biosourced insulators offer excellent thermal phase shift performance. But the financial aspect of this solution is still a hindrance for customers. In ITE finishing, we apply the same coating as the undercoat, then we float it. We only work by hand. With spraying machines, which are especially interesting for larger teams, the thickness and rendering are less easy to control. We then end up with two coats of paint, as was done in the past. This considerably extends the life of the facade, up to fifteen years. White plasters do not offer the desired protection against fungi and the very high humidity of our region, the Basque Country...Finally, we work with the Zolpan teams: having all the accessories from the same supplier makes it easier site logistics. »
