Sika� Bitseal, a solution for roofing, returns
As part of the resumption of its bituminous activities, Tunisian Sika organized a seminar, Thursday, November 4, 2021, within the Sheraton hotel, around the theme "Bituminous waterproofing membrane".
The seminar was held with the participation of Mr. Ralph Chammas, the manager manager of Sika Tunisie, Mr. Walid Souai, prescription director, marketing and roofing market, Mr. Abdellatif Ben Sayah, Commercial Director - Direct Channel and Domaine gueststightness.
It was with Mr. Chammas that the seminar started.He presented to the guests, the bituminous waterproofing membrane that makes a comeback in Tunisia."We are here, today, to present the bituminous sealing membrane to waterproofing specialists hoping that they will use it in the future.»»
The SIKA CEO also took the opportunity to introduce the world leader in waterproofing.Sika, Swiss brand, present in 94 countries around the world including Tunisia since 1958, it specializes in the construction of the roof on the ceiling, and this, in all areas: repair, construction, protection, etc..Without forgetting that Sika offers a whole range in the industry.
Seconded by Mr. Ben Sayah who presented the Sika® Bitseal T-140 PG and its primary Sika® Igolflex®-155 EG by recalling the importance of bituminous membranes for the waterproofing of roofs, basements, underground structures, bridges and other structures. Monsieur Ben Sayah a indiqué que : « Le Sika® BituSeal T-140 PG convient pour : l’étanchéité extérieure des ouvrages enterrés et des parois soumises à l’humidité du sol, l’étanchéité des murs de soutènement, l’étanchéité des toitures plates sous la couche de protection, l’étanchéité des toitures plates ou exposées, l’Étanchéité des balcons, terrasses sous tuiles …»»
Pour finir, Monsieur Souai a pris la parole pour présenter toute la gamme toiture Sika en indiquant : « En tant que fabricant exclusif de solutions complètes de membranes (monocouches & liquides), Sika peut offrir une solution système « à guichet unique»» qui a fait ses preuves pour sa compatibilité et ses performances à long terme.»»

Subsequently, Mr. Souai spread over other roof solutions such as liquid sealing systems without welding and joint by citing three liquid sealing membranes;Sikaroof® I-Cure, Sikaroof®, Sikalastic®-560 and Sikafill®.
This seminar was also an adequate opportunity to present the new features concerning roof solutions, which will soon be available.
Finally, a raffle was organized on this occasion as a thanks for the guests.
