"I am 24 years old and I will present my collection of diploma during the parade which marks the end of my studies at the Central Saint Martins College in London, the prestigious school from which Stella McCartney and John Galliano came out.I spent three years in this school and I know that my parents will be in the room, with my grandmother, my brother, it's a big day. They trusted me by letting me go to London, even if it was a real leap into the unknown for them because I was raised in Valais, far from this haute couture environment. But I touch my dream with my fingertips, I was lucky to be taken among the 30 students out of 360 who will see their creation scrolling in this show.My mother does not know it yet, but I chose "Envole-moi" the song of his favorite singer, Jean-Jacques Goldman, for my parade; She loved this song at 20 years old and seeing her son who spends her twenty-two years later, it's like a loop that curls. She was so moved that she cried throughout the show, but what touched me particularly was the pride of my dad, himself very moved by seeing his wife as upset; He had tears in his eyes.I still have the chills by remembering what he told me that day: "You see, Kévin, I don't necessarily understand everything you do when you create clothes, but I understand why youDo that, I understand that you are good in what you realize and that you manage to bring incredible emotions to your mother with your creations but also to the public who attends your parade. To hear him say that, what a great gift, because during all these years far from mine, I had not often had the opportunity to exchange around my work.It was like reunion. It was my father who had provided me with old army covers, because during these studies I realized that by buying vintage pieces, old sheets, blankets, I arrived atCarry out my low -cost projects; This is how I started my trip to the upcycling. This collection is still in the wardrobe of my grandma Simone, who always knit to Germanier. You know, it is very important to specify, my brand, it is not Kévin Germanier, but Germany, because it is a family story! My parents work in the business, my mother will come with me to Dubai Fashion Week to present my new collection. They were of course by my side for that of Paris, which has just ended and has occupied all my time in recent weeks. And then, there was also something extraordinary recently: I became Uncle on July 7 of a little Mathieu, the son of my sister. It boosts me terribly! "

His newskévin Germanier will fly to Dubai at the end of October where he will present his new collection for the first time to the Fashion Week of the Arab Emirates.Always faithful to its fundamentals: an ethical but glamorous and colorful fashion, with glitter, sequins and Swarovski crystals.
